Partially dried wood has begun drying but has not reached the target condition for its intended use.
A yard may pre-dry thick stock before kiln drying or sale. The piece still needs time and controlled storage.
Ask for current moisture, thickness and next drying step. Do not treat partially dried as furniture-ready.
