Buying slabs
In slab listings, board can mean one solid sawn piece from a log.
Woodworkers use board for many sizes of sawn timber. On KORENA, the word may refer to the same physical piece that the listing calls a slab.
Read the dimensions and photos rather than judging by the label alone. In trade price lists, board can also mean ordinary rectangular stock.

A slab is a single wide piece sawn lengthwise from a log and kept at substantial thickness.
Solid wood is wood cut from a tree rather than a sheet made from fibres, particles or veneer over a core.
