EUDR trader

Under the EUDR, a trader makes a relevant product available on the EU market after it has been placed there.

Duties depend on the trader’s size, place in the chain and the rules in force for the transaction. Records must still connect the goods to suppliers and buyers.

Trader is a legal supply-chain role. It is not simply another word for any timber merchant.
