Bookmatched
Bookmatched boards are neighbouring cuts opened like facing pages to mirror the grain.
The pair can form a wide table, doors or a decorative panel. A convincing match also depends on colour, thickness and where the centre joint falls.
Confirm that the boards are consecutive and shown in the intended orientation. Similar-looking boards from one species are not automatically a bookmatch.
