Width stations
Width stations are measured widths at set positions along a slab, often 25, 50, and 75 percent of the length.
What it means#
Width stations measure the usable width at fixed points along the slab. KORENA uses them to make live-edge shape easier to compare against a real project drawing.
Why buyers care#
A maximum width can hide a narrow waist. Width stations show whether a slab can actually become the table, counter, or shelf the buyer has in mind.
What to check#
Compare the width stations with your finished dimensions, overhang, trimming allowance, and any edge features you want to keep.
