Harvest is the cutting and removal of trees that produced the timber.
Harvest information can include the place, date or period, permit and operator. It sits earlier in the chain than sawing, drying or sale.
Do not confuse harvest country with dispatch country. Wood can cross borders before it reaches a yard.
