Saman

Saman, or Samanea saman, is also known as monkeypod or rain tree. It is chosen for very wide single-piece slabs, often over a metre wide and up to nearly 5 m long, with warm honey-brown heartwood, pale sapwood, and bold figure.

Measured saman pieces are rare in Europe, so each listing records the actual outline, dimensions, and moisture reading at capture. Stock comes from European partner yards, with provenance recorded toward an EUDR-ready wood passport. Filter by length, width, thickness, figure, and moisture.
