A partner yard is the timber business where a listed slab is stored until collection or dispatch.
The yard may be a sawmill, timber merchant or specialist slab seller. It holds the physical piece and confirms that it is still available.
Origin yard tells you where freight begins. It is separate from the forest or country where the tree was harvested.
