The STIHL MS 362 is a professional-grade petrol chainsaw built for forestry, felling and demanding firewood work. It pairs a 59.0 cc two-stroke engine with a 5.6 kg powerhead, giving trained operators a strong power-to-weight ratio for sustained cutting in the field.
Power is rated at 3.4 kW (4.56 hp), and the saw is supplied with a 40 cm (16") guide bar, a length suited to limbing, bucking and felling small to mid-diameter timber. It runs on a standard petrol and two-stroke oil mix, so it works on sites without mains power. STIHL's anti-vibration system damps the vibration carried into the handles, which matters over a full day of cutting.
